History
May. 1948 Established as "Marutani Shoten Co., Ltd."
Jun. 1950 Succeeded in industrializing the adsorption hydrogen gas dehumidifier for the first time in Japan.
May. 1952 Succeeded in putting the adsorption compressed air dehumidifier into practical use. Brand name, "AUTO-PUREX" was widely known in Japan.
Fab. 1963 Changed trade name to "Marutani Chemical Plant & Engineering Co.,Ltd."
Nov. 1965 Expanded and relocated head office to "JAPAN BLDG."
Fab. 1970 Succeeded in commercializing "AUTO-PUREX LQ", fully automatic type for liquid processing.
May. 1981 Started sales of energy-saving compressed air dehumidifier "AUTO-PUREX SE" type.
Mar. 1982 Completed new Kawagoe factory in Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture.
Aug. 1985 Started sales of plate-shaped desiccant "High Sheet Dry".
Nov. 1992 "AUTO-PUREX SE" type received the Japan Society on Adsorption Technology Award.
Jun. 1993 Completed "Nakaminato Factory" in Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
Apr. 1998 Started sales of plate-shaped desiccant "High Dry Pack".
Aug. 2000 "MK Digicant" obtained DMF(Drug Master File) number by US FDA(Food and Drug Administration).
May. 2011 Extended "Nakaminato Factory".
Jan. 2016 Moved head office to "TEKKO BLDG." in Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.
Apr. 2021 Business succession of adsorption type compressed air dehumidifier from "AGC Engineering Co., Ltd.".
Oct. 2021 Obtained DMF numbers in China (desiccant, adsorbent)
